Brandon Williford

Born and raised on the South Side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brandon moved to Chicago in 2021 to support Governor JB Pritzker’s re-election campaign during the Fall 2022 election cycle. From the moment he arrived, he felt a strong connection to the community, particularly in advocating for reproductive rights and healthcare while canvassing door-to-door. Fighting for healthcare is personal for Brandon. He has seen first hand how Medicaid has been a lifeline for close family members and how Medicare is critical for many of his friends and loved ones. Like many, Brandon has also experienced the burden of crippling medical debt and the frustration of navigating insurance claim denials. He is deeply committed to fighting for a healthcare system that works for everyone and believes it’s vital we move closer to Improved Medicare for All.
