Maxine Wolf

Maxine grew up in the west suburbs. After returning to car-dependent suburbs from a walkable university town, she began organizing for equitable public transit with The People’s Lobby. Maxine joined TPL staff after seeing first-hand how the organization was able to win the fully-funded public transit her community needs. As all our communities come under renewed attack from big tech, polluters, and state repression, Maxine believes the only way forward is working-class people-power. When she needs inspiration or grounding, Maxine turns to the discography of The Mountain Goats.
