She/Her
Rocio Cudia

Rocio is originally from Chicago. She grew up in a predominantly immigrant community, where she learned the value of social wealth and the beauty found in solidarity. At a very young age she advocated for family and neighbors through her pro-bono Spanish language interpretation services. She has worked at numerous nonprofit organizations, primarily on the South and West Sides of Chicago. She has served mostly Black and brown communities in various roles, from providing housing counseling to help folks fight off foreclosure, to labor organizing and parent education. You can catch her blasting “Basta Ya by Cain Culto, Xiuhtezcatl & Snow,” but she likes to add new music to her playlist daily.
