Our communities shouldn’t have to fight for scraps while the rich get richer. As part of the Illinois Revenue Alliance, we are a relentless presence in Springfield, demanding that our legislators close corporate tax loopholes, tax the rich, and find creative and equitable ways to fund essential programs. We also take direct action to show the corporations that support and provide cover for MAGA that there can be financial and reputational consequences to acting against their customers’ best interests.
In the state capitol and in the streets, The People’s Lobby is fighting to raise taxes on corporations and the wealthy, and to hold the corporations and billionaires that are supporting MAGA accountable for their assaults on our communities.
